Prostitution in temple: Air hostesses, MBA students held
Delhi: Police have busted a sex racket operating from a temple in South Delhi’s Khanpur. 6 girls and a customer have been taken into custody. 2 of the girls are airhostesses while the rest claim to be students of management in various city colleges. The racket was operated by the temple priest himself who goes by the name of Rajiv Ranjan Dwivedi. He operated from the premises of a temple he had constructed in Khanpur. Many of the women are airhostesses and students of prestigious management institutes.
Policemen posing as customers after they got wind of what was going on, caught the workers but not their boss. The priest is still absconding.
Incidents like these bring to mind stories of godmen like Icchadhari Baba who ran a racket of 600 girls, 50 of whom worked directly for him and had fixed rates for their services from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 50,000.
Then there is scandal tainted Nityananda of Karnataka and Pilot Baba, among many others who have shamed the country with their antics.
